Biography
Pablo was born and raised in Madrid where he studied Biochemistry. He then moved to the UK to do a MSc in Neuroscience at UCL, working on Alzheimer’s disease models in the group of Dr. Frances Edwards. Currently, Pablo is a Wellcome Trust PhD student in the laboratory of Prof. David Attwell at UCL where he is working on the regulation of microglial phagocytosis in health and disease, with a focus on the role of ion channels that become upregulated in pathology. He is also very interested in science communication and public outreach, and has participated in events like TEDx or Famelab.
